BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) training aircraft into Milestone School and College compound in Uttara area of the capital on Monday.
In a condolence message, the BNP leader said the crash was extremely tragic and heartbreaking. “I have no words to express my condolences for this touching and sorrowful incident,” he said.
“I extend my deepest sympathy to the families of the deceased and the injured. May Allah grant them the strength to endure this immense grief,” the message read.
He also demanded a fair investigation into the plane crash and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed his profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Fakhrul also prayed for swift recovery for those students who are being treated in hospitals across the city.
The BAF training aircraft crashed into the Milestone School and College campus on Monday afternoon, leaving at least 19 dead and more than a hundred injured.
