United Finance PLC has launched its mobile application, ‘UMA’, designed to offer customers a fully digital and secure banking experience, enhancing the accessibility of its financial services.

The app, introduced on 25 August 2025, allows users to open deposit accounts entirely online—an industry first among non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) in Bangladesh. UMA also provides real-time access to deposit and loan product details, instant downloading of account statements and certificates, and the ability to submit service requests directly from a mobile device.

“The app is part of our continued effort to provide secure, efficient, and accessible banking services to our customers. UMA ensures that key financial services are available at their fingertips, providing a seamless experience,” United Finance Chairman Najmul Hasan said at the launch event held at a city hotel on Monday.

Managing Director Mohammad Rafiqul Islam explained that the app’s simple, user-friendly interface ensures accessibility for all, regardless of technical experience. “UMA is not just secure, but it is also designed with transparency in mind. It empowers customers to easily manage their financial transactions,” he said.

Deputy Managing Director Mohammed Abul Ahsan demonstrated the key features of UMA, showing how the app offers customers the flexibility to manage their finances from anywhere, anytime.

UMA is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. United Finance will also provide step-by-step tutorials and feature highlights on its official social media channels to assist customers in getting started with the app.
