The Emirates Cricket Board has confirmed that an additional T20 International has been added to the ongoing series between the UAE and Bangladesh. The third and final match of the series will take place on Wednesday, 21 May, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The decision to include a third fixture follows discussions between the Emirates Cricket Board and the Bangladesh Cricket Board. As per the revised schedule, the second T20I will be played today (Monday), 19 May, with the first ball set to be bowled at 9:00pm Bangladesh time. The newly scheduled third T20I will also begin at 9:00pm on Wednesday.
The series has seen Parvez Hossain Emon break the record for the fastest T20I century by a Bangladeshi batsman along with Mustafizur Rahman getting the achievement of bowling the most dot balls at the death overs, all in the first T20I. Bangladesh won the match by 27 runs and lead the now 3 match series by 1-0.
