Tusuka Group goes for 3-day enforced holiday

Tusuka authorities have announced three-day general holiday for  workers of its six entities. The three-day enforced general holiday starts on Monday. Tusuka officials mentioned ‘lack of proper work environment’ as reason for declaration of holiday in factories.

The six organizations under enforced holiday are: Tusuka Jeans Limited, Tusuka Trousers Limited, Tusuka Denim Limited, Tusuka Processing limited, Tusuka Washing Limited and Tusuka Packaging Limited.

A notice on the main gate of a factory reads “all officers, employees and workers of Tusuka Jeans Limited, Tusuka Trousers Limited, Tusuka Denim Limited, Tusuka Processing Limited, Tusuka Washing Limited and Tusuka Packaging Limited are hereby notified that due to lack of proper work environment inside factories. All six entities will be under general holiday from 21st April to 23rd April 2025”

A Tushuka official alleged that the factory workers are continuing agitation on factory premises even when the authorities have agreed to meet their demands. He added that ‘external conspirators are involved with this movement.’

According to business insiders, Tusuka group is the parent company and owner of NOVOAIR, a leading regional airline operating across Bangladesh and India.
