Two days on from the scheduled ticket release, fans are still unable to purchase tickets for the highly anticipated AFC Asian Cup Qualifier between Bangladesh and Singapore, as the designated sales platform Tickify remains offline.

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has said they expect the issue to be resolved by the end of the day. However, there is still no clear indication as to when ticket sales will officially resume.

“They (Tickify) have informed us that the system will be back online today,” said Golam Gaus, Chairman of the BFF’s Competition Committee. “Work is ongoing. We hope everyone will be able to buy tickets again by today.”

Committee member Tajwar Auwal was slightly more optimistic, telling the press that tickets should go live by this evening. “We’ll be live by tonight. Then fans can purchase tickets,” he said. So far, around 3,500 tickets have been sold. A few of those have faced mismatches with buyers’ email confirmations, an issue the Competition Committee is actively reviewing. “We’ve received some complaints about mismatches. We’re investigating and will correct any errors,” Auwal added.

The initial rollout of ticket sales was scheduled for 8:00 PM on Saturday via Tickify’s website. However, just 20 minutes before the launch, the BFF announced that a cyber attack had crippled the ticketing system. In a statement, they confirmed that Tickify had fallen victim to a suspected Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack, which caused the website to crash under the weight of over 150,000 requests in a short span.

Despite assurances that the issue would be quickly resolved, as of 12:30 AM Monday, the site remains non-functional. The persistent outage has left fans deeply frustrated—especially with the growing excitement surrounding the fixture, scheduled for 10 June at the newly refurbished Bangabandhu National Stadium.

The match is set to feature a much-hyped debut for Hamza Choudhury and Shamit Shome, along with rising star Fahmidul Islam—adding to the fervour among local supporters. But instead of focusing on the on-field action, attention has shifted to mounting ticketing chaos.

Many fans had stayed up late or cleared their schedules on Saturday night to secure their tickets online, only to be met with repeated “503 Service Temporarily Unavailable” error messages. Social media has since been flooded with complaints.

While the BFF has succeeded in generating buzz for the match, it has stumbled badly in managing the online ticketing process—leaving thousands of eager fans still asking the same question: When can we finally buy tickets?
