Hollywood sensation Sydney Sweeney could soon be stepping into Indian cinema, with reports hinting at a deal unlike anything seen before. According to The Sun, the ‘Euphoria’ and ‘Anyone But You’ actress has been approached to star in what is set to be one of the costliest productions in Bollywood history.

The offer on the table is worth an eye-popping £45 million (around ₹530 crore). This reportedly includes a £35 million fee for her role, plus another £10 million tied to endorsements and brand partnerships. If finalised, it would rank among the most lucrative packages ever secured by an international actor in India.

The film’s storyline will reportedly follow an American star who falls for a prominent Indian celebrity, with shooting planned across global hotspots including New York, Paris, London and Dubai, beginning in early 2026. Producers are said to be banking on Sweeney’s international fame to attract audiences far beyond India.

While the project is still in early stages, insiders suggest it could mark a milestone for cross-cultural collaboration in cinema. For Sweeney, who has built a reputation through critically acclaimed series and blockbuster hits, the decision will weigh heavily against her packed Hollywood schedule.

If she signs on, the project could become a defining moment not only for her career, but also for the growing global reach of Bollywood.
