Southeast Bank PLC hosted its “Leadership Circle – 2025” Regional Conference on June 22, 2025, in Khulna, with a focus on aligning strategic business objectives, overcoming operational challenges, and plotting a future growth path for the region.
The conference, attended by key executives including Deputy Managing Director Mohammed Rashedul Amin, EVP Mohammad Ashikuzzaman Khan, SVP Md. Musfiqur Rahman, and branch managers from eight branches across the Khulna region, included a comprehensive review of the bank’s performance for 2025. Discussions covered budget achievements, NPL (Non-Performing Loan) recovery strategies, branch-level targets, and retail business growth opportunities like home loans and credit card expansion.
The event placed a strong emphasis on mitigating audit observations, reinforcing a compliance-first culture, and adhering to Bangladesh Bank’s anti-money laundering guidelines. NPL recovery was identified as a top priority, with branch managers tasked with implementing practical recovery plans and engaging proactively with borrowers.
In his keynote address, Rashedul Amin urged managers to focus on compliance, customer relationship management, and tapping into emerging urban and semi-urban markets for retail expansion. He also outlined the bank’s long-term strategy to overcome budget deficits, pursue NPL reduction, expand retail banking through technology, and strengthen low-cost deposits for sustainable growth.
The conference concluded with a call for united leadership and collaboration to meet the bank’s strategic goals through teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
