Bangladesh met office has predicted a slight drop in daytime temperatures across the country while nighttime temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged.
The met experts foresees temporary gusty winds from Sunday evening and the following week to be accompanied by rain or thunderstoms in parts of Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Isolated rain or thundershowers are also likely in a few places across Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions.
Despite this forecast, the daytime temperatures for Dhaka and surrounding areas will remain unchanged on Sunday from 7.00 am till the next six hours. Skies are expected to stay mostly clear in Dhaka, with dry weather prevailing. Winds may blow from the west or southwest at speeds of 10–15 km.
On Saturday, the country recorded a maximum temperature of 40.1°C and a minimum of 29.5°C. Meanwhile, on Saturday Chandpur experienced 6 millimeters of rainfall which is the highest recorded in the country in recent weeks.
