Shakib Al Hasan will lead a strong Bangladeshi contingent in the upcoming Per Sixty Legends League, a T10 tournament scheduled to run from 5 to 16 August in the United States.
The veteran all-rounder has been signed as the icon player for Detroit Falcons, one of the six participating franchises.
The Falcons, owned by Bangladeshi interests, finalised Shakib and Nasir Hossain through direct contracts ahead of the draft. In total, nine Bangladeshi cricketers will feature in the team, making it the most Bangladesh-represented side in the competition.

Rishi Dhawan, Sharad Lamba (India), Chandrapaul Hemraj, Anthony Bramble (West Indies), Malinda Pushpakumara (Sri Lanka), and Cameron Delport (South Africa).
