In a move rarely seen in cinema, director Mehedi Hasan Hridoy is planning to release a three-part film starring Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan — with all installments hitting screens on the same day.

The ‘Borbaad’ director revealed that the project, which is still in the scripting stage, will be filmed in one continuous shoot.

He said, “We’re going to make a big-canvas movie with Shakib bhai,” Hridoy told the media. “Since it’s such a large project, it will be split into three parts — but unlike the usual model of releasing them separately, all three will premiere together.”

Hridoy added that the story holds special significance for Shakib. “At the Borbaad premiere, Shakib bhai hinted that something big was on the way. We’ve discussed the story and screenplay with him, and he’s fully on board.”

Before embarking on this ambitious trilogy, Hridoy will complete another film featuring Siam Ahmed and Dighi.
