For the first time in Bangladesh, Reaz Public School has been selected as a NASA Astro Camp Community Partner by the United States space research agency, NASA. This educational institution, part of the Epyllion Foundation, is located in Bandar, Narayanganj.

Through this initiative, Bangladesh joins 271 institutions across 7 countries worldwide that are partners of NASA’s Astro Camp.

As the first step of this journey, an Astro Camp titled “On a Mission to Mars” was held at Reaz Public School on September 20, 2025. 64 students participated in this day-long camp. They were divided into teams across four cosmic stations – Orion, Pegasus, Cassiopeia, and Aries.

At each station, students engaged in science-based problem-solving and experienced various stages of space missions. Under the guidance of NASA-trained facilitators, the students completed a simulated space mission, using STEM to collaboratively tackle scientific and technological challenges.

During the camp, a special art exhibition – “Space Gallery” – was organised for the students, along with VR and game zones, making the space experience more colourful and engaging for the children.

Mr Nazmul Ahsan, AGM of the CSR Department of the Epyllion Group and NASA ASCP Partner Site Director, stated, “We believe this camp will ignite students’ interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and inspire them to tackle future innovative challenges.”

This initiative by the Epyllion Foundation and Reaz Public School will help make the country’s education system more practical and aligned with future needs.

It is worth noting that Reaz Public School (RPS), established in Nabiganj, Bandar Upazila, Narayanganj, is a non-profit educational project launched in 2023 under the CSR wing of the Epyllion Group. It works towards social development and aims to provide quality education and holistic development for underprivileged children.
