Smartphone brand realme is set to mark its 828 Anniversary Celebration on August 27 by unveiling a high-density 10,000mAh battery, highlighting its focus on innovation and long-lasting performance for users.

The battery uses full silicon anode technology to achieve an energy density of 1,200 Wh/L, the highest ever for a smartphone. The design combines large capacity with a slim profile, targeting gamers, content creators, and travellers who require extended usage without frequent charging.

Realme has previously set benchmarks in battery technology. In 2024, it launched the 320W SuperSonic Charging system, capable of charging a 4,420mAh battery to full in just 4 minutes 30 seconds. Earlier this year, the GT 7 model became the first smartphone to pair a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Three months ago, the company showcased a concept phone with a 10,000mAh battery at 887 Wh/L energy density.

In addition to the new battery, realme has hinted at another major technology reveal during the anniversary event, though details remain under wraps.

The 828 Anniversary, also known as the 828 Fan Festival, celebrates realme’s founding and brings together its global community of users. Fans can follow live updates on August 27 to witness the brand’s latest innovations.
