Pubali Bank PLC organized a five-day “Orientation Program” for 128 newly recruited officers. The event, arranged by the Human Resources Division, aimed at familiarizing the participants with the concepts, principles, rules, regulations, and practices of banking.
According to a press release, the ceremony was attended by Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali as the Chief Guest, along with Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Esha, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Ahmed Enayet Manzur, Md Shahnewaz Khan, and Mohammad Anisuzzaman as Special Guests. Ismat Ara Huq, General Manager and Head of the Human Resources Division, delivered the welcome speech.
In his inaugural address, Managing Director Mohammad Ali encouraged the newly recruited officers to work with sincerity and honesty. He emphasized the need for acquiring diverse banking knowledge to adapt to the competitive global market. “A successful banker is one who explores and hones their skills at the highest level by applying themselves properly,” he said, adding that officers should always comply with the rules and regulations of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies, as Pubali Bank is a highly compliant institution.
The Managing Director also urged the officers to serve customers with integrity, determination, and professionalism while embracing modern technology to enhance customer service.
General Managers from the Head Office and senior executives of Pubali Bank also attended the ceremony.
