As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Pubali Bank PLC has donated an ambulance to Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) to support healthcare and emergency services for students and faculty.
Mohammad Ali, managing director and chief executive officer of Pubali Bank, handed over the ambulance key to Professor Dr Mohammad Ismail, vice-chancellor of NSTU, at a formal ceremony held on the university campus.
Professor Dr Mohammad Razuanul Hoque, pro-vice chancellor, and Professor Dr Muhammad Hanif (Murad), treasurer of NSTU, were present as special guests. The event was chaired by Mohammad Hafizur Rahman Sardar, deputy general manager and regional head of Pubali Bank’s Noakhali region.
Faculty members, students, and university staff, along with senior officials from Pubali Bank, attended the handover event.
In his remarks, Pubali Bank CEO Mohammad Ali said, “Pubali Bank is not driven by profit alone. We believe in fulfilling our social responsibility, and this ambulance donation is a reflection of that commitment.” He added that the contribution would strengthen the bond of cooperation between Pubali Bank and NSTU in the future.
