The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the final results of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination.
In a press release issued around 11:30pm on Monday, the commission announced its provisional selection of 1,690 candidates for appointment against 1,710 vacant posts across various cadres, which left 20 technical and professional cadre posts remaining unfilled due to a lack of qualified candidates.
Detailed nomination information is available on the PSC website and Teletalk Bangladesh Limited’s portal. The commission reserved the right to make amendments to the published results if justified reasons arise.
The notice clarified that while some candidates passed both written and oral exams, not all could be nominated for cadre positions.
Those not selected for cadre posts will be considered for non-cadre vacancies based on merit and existing rules, subject to government approval of available positions.
