PRAN RFL Group Chairman and CEO Ahsan Khan Chowdhury provided an update on the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in India, emphasising the critical importance of their current market development trip.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Chowdhury shared that the visit, which began with productive talks in Lucknow, marks a significant milestone for PRAN RFL Group’s plans to solidify its position in the Indian market, one of the world’s most promising and vast consumer markets.

“We view this as a major step to further strengthen PRAN RFL Group’s presence in India,” Chowdhury remarked.

The delegation has since moved to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where they are meeting with partners to explore new business avenues and working closely with local consumers to better adapt their products to meet regional preferences.

Chowdhury emphasised the importance of engaging with the local market, stating, “We are keenly understanding local needs and regional nuances to tailor our products and services accordingly.”

Additionally, PRAN RFL Group is focusing on diversifying its product range for the Indian market. “We are excited about developing and exporting a wider variety of products that align with the specific demands of this market,” he added.

Having started its exports to India nearly three decades ago, PRAN RFL Group now offers over 150 products to Indian consumers, generating more than $50 million annually.

The fast-growing Bangladeshi conglomerate continues to expand its reach, with food products now sold in over 140 countries around the world.
