Pakistan commerce minister begins Dhaka visit to boost trade ties

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday on a four-day official visit from August 21 to 24.

Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin and Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider received him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Officials said the visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral trade ties and expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.

During his stay, the Pakistan commerce minister will hold meetings with his Bangladesh counterpart, senior government officials and leading business representatives to explore new opportunities in trade and investment.
