Ozzy Osbourne’s music has seen a major resurgence following his death on July 22 at age 76. His 2003 compilation ‘The Essential Ozzy Osbourne’ has entered the Billboard 200’s top 10 for the first time, debuting at No. 7 with nearly 44,000 equivalent album units between July 18 and 24, according to Luminate.

The album, featuring classics like ‘Crazy Train’ and ‘Diary of a Madman’, also debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Streaming Albums with over 48 million streams.

This marks Osbourne’s 10th solo top 10 album, joining previous entries like Patient Number 9 (2022), Ordinary Man (2020), and The Ultimate Sin (1986). As Black Sabbath’s frontman, he also scored top 10s with ‘13’ and ‘Master of Reality’.
