Outgoing French Ambassador to Bangladesh Marie Masdupuy paid a farewell call on BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on Wednesday night.

The French envoy went to the BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office around 8:30pm and exchanged pleasantries with her, said BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

He said Khaleda greeted Marie Masdupuy by presenting a bouquet.

The French envoy enquired about her health and spent some time with her, Sayrul said.

BNP Standing Committee members Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan and AZM Zahid Hossain were present during the meeting.
