NRBC Bank holds reconstituted Shariah Supervisory Committee meeting

On Sunday, July 20, 2025, NRBC Bank PLC. hosted a crucial meeting of its reconstituted Shariah Supervisory Committee for the Al-Amin Islamic Banking Window at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.

The meeting, presided over by Mr. Sayed Mohammad Mosaddek Billah Al-Madani, Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Committee, saw the attendance of committee members Md. Obaidul Hoque and Hafiz Mufti Saiful Islam. Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank, and Md. Abdul Gofur Raana, Head of the Al-Amin Islamic Banking Window, were also present.

The meeting featured in-depth discussions about the bank’s ongoing Shariah compliance activities and strategic directions for Shariah-based investments, operational procedures, and product development. The committee also deliberated on various Shariah advisory matters, ensuring that all aspects of the bank’s services remain fully aligned with Islamic banking principles.
