Arctic Monkeys have fueled speculation of a new album after launching a recording company and updating their website. The Sheffield band’s last album, ‘The Car’, was released in late 2022 to critical acclaim.
Following The Car, the band headlined Glastonbury 2023 and embarked on a world tour, concluding with special guests James Ford and Miles Kane. Since then, updates have been scarce.
Fans noticed the band’s website homepage now features a simple green backdrop, replacing The Car artwork, while items from the music store have vanished. Arctic Monkeys have also added a ‘Newsletter’ section and legally launched a new recording company called Bang Bang Recordings, listing all band members on the gov.uk website.
An X/Twitter page, @hasitleaked, claimed the band has studio sessions booked for November and plans a full summer tour in 2026, though no official confirmation exists.
Fans have taken to Reddit expressing excitement, with some convinced a new album is imminent. Meanwhile, drummer Matt Helders appears to be working on solo ambient electronic material, continuing a project he hinted at as far back as 2018.
