Composer and music director Naved Parvez has been shaping the soundscape of Bangladeshi cinema, television, and advertisements for nearly a decade. The young maestro dreams of taking his musical journey to greater heights.
This Eid-ul-Adha, Naved finds himself in the spotlight for scoring Tandob, the most talked-about film starring Shakib Khan. The song “Hobe Tandob” has become particularly popular among audiences. Beyond this, he also composed two tracks for another Eid release, Insaaf—the title track sung by Arif Rahman Joy and “Dhamaka” performed by Xefer.
“Music is woven into the depths of my soul,” Naved shares. “Whatever project I work on, I always strive to give my best. The trust producers place in me and the love I receive from audiences bring me immense joy. Nothing inspires me more than hearing my songs played in cinemas, live shows, or anywhere else. This love fuels my dream to go much further with music.”
Naved previously composed the title track for Toofan, last year’s highest-grossing film, also sung by Arif Rahman Joy. His notable works include “Surma Surma” (performed by Imran and Konal) and “Barud” (by Sajal) from Leader: Ami Bangladesh.
Since 2014, Naved Parvez has been actively contributing to Bangladesh’s music scene. Among his most popular compositions is “Chol Niralay” from Raihan Rafi’s film Pora n. Other hits like “Ferate Parini”, “Roz Belashe”, “Prem-er Baki Golpo Shajai”, “Dil Amar Khushite Dhang Dhang Kore”, “Ami Porbo Na Tomar Hote”, and “Ayna Bolona” have also resonated widely with audiences.
