National Bank PLC has officially launched a new campaign titled ‘Uttoron – Rise Again, Rise with Trust’, aimed at strengthening deposit mobilisation, expanding consumer financing, and promoting credit card services across the country.

The formal inauguration of the campaign was held on Tuesday, 1 July 2025, at the bank’s head office.

Imran Ahmed, managing director (Current Charge) of National Bank PLC, attended the ceremony as chief guest. According to press release, during his speech, he highlighted the bank’s recent success in its third subordinated bond programme, which received a strong response from the general public.

“This milestone reassures us that, despite prevailing concerns in the banking sector, people’s trust in National Bank remains firm,” said Imran Ahmed. “Building on that trust, we’ve launched the ‘Uttoron’ campaign to further expand customer services, deepen financial inclusion, and contribute to a more stable and accessible banking environment.”

Also present were Kazi Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Md. Abdur Rahim, and Md. Meshkat-ul-Anwar Khan — all deputy managing directors (In-Charge); as well as Milton Roy, senior vice president and head of Retail Banking and Foreign Remittance Division. Senior divisional heads from various departments also participated in the event.

Branch and sub-branch managers, along with regional heads from across Bangladesh, joined the programme virtually. The campaign is expected to play a key role in reinforcing customer confidence and revitalising the bank’s growth strategy.
