National Bank hosted an insightful workshop titled “Good Governance, Ethics & Integrity in Corporate Environment & Personal Life” at the National Bank Training Institute. The session, held on Tuesday, June 24, was conducted by Dr Salimullah Khan, a respected Bangladeshi academician, writer, and intellectual, who is also a professor at North South University.
The workshop, attended by National Bank officials both in person and virtually, was graced by Mr Imran Ahmed, Managing Director (CC) of National Bank, who served as the Chief Guest. Other notable attendees included Mr Kazi Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), Mr Md Abdur Rahim, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), Mr Md Meshkat-ul-Anwar Khan, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), and Mr Shah Syed Rafiul Bari, Principal of the National Bank Training Institute.
Dr Salimullah Khan’s session focused on the essential principles of good governance, ethical practices, and maintaining integrity in both the corporate environment and personal life. He offered valuable insights and fostered an engaging discussion with the attendees, addressing questions and comments with logical reasoning and clear explanations.
The workshop was attended by divisional and departmental heads from the bank’s head office, while regional heads, branch managers, and officers from across the country participated virtually.
This session was part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to promote ethical values and governance standards among its staff, contributing to a more transparent and responsible corporate environment.
