Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his greetings to Chief Adviser (CA) Muhammad Yunus on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Adha, said a statement from CA’s office confirmed.
In a message on Wednesday, the Indian premier highlighted the significance of the festival, saying it reflects values like sacrifice, compassion, and brotherhood—key to a peaceful and inclusive world. He also noted that Eid is an important part of the region’s rich cultural diversity and is celebrated by millions with joy, the statement said.
He also extended his good wishes for the good health and well being of the Chief Adviser.
The Chief Adviser, in reply on Friday, appreciated the thoughtful message from Narendra Modi mentioning that it reflects the shared values between the two countries.
Muhammad Yunus expressed his confidence to the mutual understanding between the two countries will guide both nations to work together for the wellbeing of the people.
