The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the death toll from Monday’s military aircraft crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara has risen to 31, with 165 others injured in the tragic incident.

According to the ISPR statement issued at 2:15pm, the fatalities include 16 victims at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), 10 at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, two at Labana General Hospital, and one each at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Uttara Modern Medical College Hospital, and United Hospital.

Military authorities stressed these numbers represent the official verified casualty count and urged the public to disregard any unconfirmed reports circulating about the incident.

The crash occurred when an F-7BG combat trainer jet plunged into the school building during a routine training mission, triggering a fire that resulted in multiple casualties among students and staff members.
