The death toll from the Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara has risen to 27, with doctors confirming that 25 of the deceased were children.
78 injured individuals remain hospitalised across various medical facilities, five of whom are in critical condition. So far, 20 bodies have been handed over to families.
Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for Health Dr Md Sayedur Rahman provided the update Tuesday morning after 8am at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. He requested prayers for the burnt children and echoed the chief adviser’s statements yesterday urging the public to avoid crowding hospitals.

He noted that sufficient blood donors are available though some negative blood types are still needed.
