Dhallywood actress Meghla Mukta has been seriously injured in a road accident and is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in Dhaka.
According to a statement shared on the actress’s official social media page on Tuesday (29 July) by her management team, Meghla Mukta is undergoing surgery while remaining under close medical supervision.
The statement requested prayers and well wishes from fans and well-wishers for her speedy recovery.
It also urged the public not to spread unverified information or rumours regarding the incident on social media.
“We request everyone not to circulate unverified information. Any updates regarding Meghla Mukta’s health will be shared through our official channels,” the statement said.
Details about where and how the accident occurred have not yet been disclosed.
Neither the hospital nor the actress’s family has released additional information about her current condition.
Meghla Mukta first came into the spotlight with the Telugu-language film Sakala Kala Vallabhudu. She later established herself in Bangladeshi cinema and has also appeared in several OTT productions, earning recognition for her performances.
