A special reunion of former students of Khulna University Engineering & Technology (KUET) was successfully held in Canberra, Australia, bringing together a large number of alumni for a joyful and memorable day.
The event took place on Saturday in the Corinna Room 1 of the Southern Cross Club in Woden, Canberra. The gathering was made more special by the presence of Bangladesh’s High Commissioner to Australia, F.M. Borhan Uddin, who attended as chief guests and delivered inspiring speeches to the alumni. Federal MP David Smith also joined them.
KUET graduates living across Australia attended the event, which featured welcome remarks, introductory speeches, memory sharing, and vibrant networking. The lunch was a fusion of Bangladeshi dishes with Australian flavors, offering a unique cultural experience.
“This was more than just a social event—it was a heartfelt celebration of our roots, values, and pride in the KUET family,” said one of the organisers.
The warm setting and excellent facilities of the Corinna Room added to the enjoyment of the day.
Participants expressed their appreciation to the organizers and pledged to stay connected through future alumni events.
