Karmasangsthan Bank’s blood donation campaign in honour of July martyrs

Karmasangsthan Bank organised a voluntary blood donation campaign on Monday, 4 August 2025, at its head office in Dhaka as part of its July Reawakening Programme–2025, in remembrance of the martyrs of the July uprising.

The bank’s Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury inaugurated the campaign as chief guest and paid tribute to those who laid down their lives during the movement.

In his speech, Chowdhury said that blood donation is not only a humanitarian act, but the highest form of giving that can save lives. He prayed for the souls of the martyrs and wished a quick recovery for the injured. He also expressed gratitude to all who participated in the noble initiative, including the Red Crescent.

Karmasangsthan Bank Deputy Managing Director Meher Sultana, General Managers Mahmuda Yasmin, Md Shafiqul Islam Miah and Md Amirul Islam were present at the event, alongside officials and employees from the head office, main branch, and Dhaka region.

The programme was conducted by Karmasangsthan Bank Principal Officer of the Marketing Unit Mohammad Nasimul Haque.
