The National Consensus Commission (NCC) has analysed the feedback received from political parties regarding the draft of the July National Charter. Simultaneously, the linguistic accuracy of the decisions included in the charter was re-evaluated.

This discussion took place during a meeting held on Thursday at the commission’s office conference room. The information was later shared in a press release.

The release stated that the unfinished discussion from Wednesday was continued in the meeting, focusing on the opinions of the political parties. Additionally, the necessity of holding separate informal group discussions with political parties regarding potential methods for implementing the charter was also raised during the meeting.

Attendees at the meeting included the Commission’s Vice-Chair Ali Riaz, members Badrul Alam Majumdar, Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Iftekharuzzaman, Safar Raj Hossain, Md Ayub Mia, and the Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haider.

On August 16, the National Consensus Commission sent the full integrated draft of the “July National Charter 2025” to political parties for their feedback. A total of 29 political parties have submitted their opinions.
