The newly elected Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) leaders have provided transport facilities, oral saline, and safe drinking water to support JU students appearing in the 47th BCS Preliminary Examination.
On Friday, buses departed from the university’s Central Shaheed Minar area at 6am along five routes to Dhaka. During the journey, examinees were provided with oral saline and drinking water. The initiative was organized and implemented by the newly elected JUCSU leadership.
JUCSU General Secretary Mazharul Islam said, “A large number of JU students are taking part in this year’s BCS exam. To ease their travel and provide some comfort during the long journey, we launched this initiative. We hope they will succeed and bring pride to the university.”
Vice President Abdur Rashid Jitu said, “Due to a shortage of buses, we could not accommodate everyone, which we deeply regret. We hope transportation challenges will be resolved in the future. On behalf of JUCSU, we extend our best wishes and prayers to all examinees.”
