Jashore Education Board has recorded a significant decrease in both overall pass rates and the number of GPA-5 achievers in the 2025 SSC examinations compared to the previous year.
Jashore year, the board’s average pass rate stands at 73.69%, with 15,410 students securing GPA-5, a notable decline from 2024’s results, when the pass rate was 92.33% with 20,761 GPA-5 achievers. This represents an 18.64% drop in pass percentage and 5,341 fewer students obtaining GPA-5 this year.
Board Chairman Professor Dr Mosammat Asma Begum revealed these statistics during a press conference at the Jessore Board auditorium on Thursday at 2pm.
Despite the overall decrease, Jessore district continues to outperform the board’s other nine affiliated districts in pass rates.
A total of 393 educational institutions participated under the Jessore Board, with 75 institutions achieving 100% pass rates.
However, two schools failed to have any students pass the examinations.
