Masoud Pezeshkian, president of Iran is going to visit Islamabad, Pakistan soon. He is expected to be there on July 26.
The date has been finalised on July 22, following the statement of Ismail Bakai, the spokesperson of Iran’s foreign ministry. Both of the country’s officials are getting prepared in this regard.
On July 21, Bakai informed at a press conference that Pezeshkian is going to visit Pakistan next week. Iran mentioned the upcoming visit as the sign of importance of the relationship with Pakistan.
He noted, after the US and Israel’s aggression against Iran, communication between Tehran and Islamabad has been developed.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni talked over telephone with Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan’s federal minister for interior. He expressed deep sorrow for the people who died in Pakistan’s recent flood accident.
With heartfelt condolences, the Iranian minister said, “We are standing by the government and the people of Pakistan in this tough time. Iran is ready to provide every possible support to the people affected by flood.”
Pakistan at the same time condemned the US, Israeli attack on military, nuclear and residential infrastructures spanning 12 days.
The ministers discussed Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit to Pakistan as Iranian minister thanked Nakvi for the recent Iran visit. Minister from Pakistan said, Islamabad is always interested in welcoming Pezeshkian. He is optimistic that the relationship between two countries will reach new heights after the visit.
