US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran and Israel will “reach an agreement” to end their ongoing conflict, revealing that “numerous calls and meetings are currently underway” to mediate peace.

In a Sunday morning post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Iran and Israel should make a deal, and will make a deal, just like I got India and Pakistan to make.” He referenced his first presidential term’s diplomatic interventions in the Serbia-Kosovo and Egypt-Ethiopia crises during heightened tensions.

“Likewise, we will have PEACE, soon, between Israel and Iran! Many calls and meetings now taking place,” Trump added. He concluded with his signature phrase: “I do a lot, and never get credit for anything, but that’s OK, the PEOPLE understand. MAKE THE MIDDLE EAST GREAT AGAIN!”

The conflict entered its third consecutive day on Sunday with rising casualties. Israel warned of “worse outcomes yet to come.”

AP reports indicate Israel targeted Iran’s Defense Ministry and nuclear facilities, while Iranian missiles penetrated Israeli air defenses, striking multiple buildings. Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency service confirmed at least 10 Israeli deaths by Sunday, while Iran’s UN envoy earlier reported 78 fatalities and over 320 injuries in Iran.
