West Indies kept their series hopes alive with a nail-biting two-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second T20I at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida, on Sunday.

Chasing a modest 134, the hosts held their nerve to reach the target off the very last ball of the match. Jason Holder was the hero of the night, first with the ball and then with the bat. His brilliant figures of 4 for 19 dismantled Pakistan’s middle order and restricted them to 133 for 9 in 20 overs.

Pakistan’s innings never fully took off, as regular wickets kept them in check. Holder struck at key moments, removing top and middle-order batters to prevent any late flourish.

In reply, West Indies stumbled early, slipping to 79 for 5 in the 16th over. But a composed lower-order effort brought them back into the contest. With three runs needed off the final delivery, Holder smashed the winning boundary to spark celebrations in the Windies camp.

The win levels the series 1-1, setting up a thrilling decider in the remaining match.
