Guardian Life Insurance Ltd has successfully disbursed Tk248.81 crore in insurance claims during the first half (H1) of 2025. The payouts included Tk138.39 crore in death claims, Tk95.93 crore in health claims, and Tk14.49 crore in policy maturity and other claims.
The company’s claim settlement performance underscores its leadership in the Bangladeshi insurance sector, with 95 per cent of claims settled within just three working days. This operational efficiency reflects Guardian’s commitment to customer service, according to a press statement.
Guardian’s insurance coverage now protects over 13 million people, including employees from more than 500 local and multinational organizations. The company’s clientele spans financial institutions, embassies, multinational corporations, NGOs, business conglomerates, buying houses, and the RMG sector.
Guardian maintains partnerships with over 500 hospitals across the country, facilitating seamless healthcare claim processing. Additionally, the company offers 24/7 customer support via the helpline 16622, ensuring policyholders can access assistance anytime, anywhere.
