Grameenphone has unveiled FutureMakers, a groundbreaking nationwide idea competition that aims to empower university students across Bangladesh to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for real-world problem-solving. This marks the first-ever university-wide competition of its kind, designed to spark creativity among young minds and demonstrate how AI can help tackle global challenges.

FutureMakers opens its doors to all university students in the country, reinforcing Grameenphone’s dedication to fostering innovation, championing youth empowerment, and strengthening collaborations with academic institutions. This competition is a part of the company’s ongoing efforts to cultivate talent and position itself as a future-ready employer in the digital age.

Participants can easily register online by submitting a valid university ID. Once registered, they will be evaluated by a distinguished panel consisting of industry experts, tech startup leaders, and senior executives from Grameenphone. The registration portal is available on the official website: www.gpfuturemakers.com.

In discussing the initiative, Grameenphone’s Chief Human Resource Officer Sayeda Tahya Hossain stated, “With FutureMakers, we aim to create a platform that encourages young minds to push the boundaries of innovation using AI. This competition is a testament to our commitment to nurturing tomorrow’s leaders and changemakers, who will thrive in a digital-first world.”

Winners of the competition will not only walk away with prize money but will also earn an accelerated pathway to Grameenphone’s prestigious flagship programs, providing them with invaluable exposure to the company’s dynamic work culture.

The competition will unfold at several venues, both within universities and at Grameenphone’s own facilities, with the final event set to conclude by the first week of November. This marks the exciting conclusion of an innovative journey, celebrating the brilliance and creativity of the country’s future leaders.
