The Cabinet Division has issued a circular prohibiting use of the Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s photograph including 3D or artistic representations on banners, festoons, and billboards for government events without prior approval.
Signed on 5 July by Deputy Secretary Tania Afroz, the directive was distributed to senior officials, including the Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary, Cabinet Division’s Senior Secretary, Chief Information Officer, and administrative officers at district and upazila levels.
The circular stated that the theme of the programmes must take precedence in the design of banners, festoons and billboards, with only essential and relevant details included.
