The curfew in effect in Gopalganj has been extended indefinitely.
This follows a 22-hour curfew that had been imposed on Wednesday from 8pm to 6pm the next day.
According to a home ministry notification, the curfew will remain in effect with a three-hour break in between from 11am to 2pm.
After this period, the curfew will be reimposed.
