Gas supply to remain suspended for 11hrs in parts of Dhaka, N’ganj Monday

Gas supply will remain suspended for 11 hours in several areas of Dhaka and Narayanganj on Monday due to pipeline relocation work under the DND Canal Excavation Project.

In a public notice issued on Sunday, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited announced that the suspension will last from 8am to 7pm.

The areas affected include Tengra, Bahir Tengra, Hajinagar, Amtala, Barobhanga, Kodaldhoa, Sanarpar, Nimaikashari, Nama Shyampur, Zia Sarani, Japanese Bazar, Titas Gas Road, Chapra Mosque area, Ruposhi Bangla Hospital area, Shanir Akhra, areas adjacent to RS Tower, Govindapur, Matuail, Mridhabari, Kajla, Bhanga Bridge, Demra, Staff Quarter, Amulia, Paity, Zahid Steel, Shahriar Steel, Dharmik Para, and Council area.

Additionally, low gas pressure may be experienced in surrounding neighborhoods during the period.

Titas Gas has apologised for the temporary inconvenience and urged consumers to cooperate during the maintenance work.
