Pathao, Bangladesh’s leading digital services platform, has been included in Forbes Asia’s “100 to Watch 2025” list, recognising companies with strong potential to shape the Asia-Pacific region’s future.
The recognition comes ahead of Pathao’s 10th anniversary this October. Founded in 2015 as a modest delivery service, Pathao has grown into a multi-service platform offering rides, food delivery, courier services, and financial solutions across Bangladesh and Nepal.
In its first decade, the platform has served over 10 million users and generated employment for approximately 500,000 people. Pathao’s CEO Fahim Ahmed said, “This acknowledgment by Forbes reflects not just our growth, but the resilience and ambition of Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem. Technology, for us, is about empowering people—whether our users, delivery partners, or businesses.”
Looking ahead, Pathao aims to expand its digital services further, particularly through Pathao Pay, while continuing to create opportunities and enhance accessibility for millions. “The next ten years will focus on connecting more people and strengthening Bangladesh’s digital economy,” Ahmed added.
Pathao remains the country’s top platform in ride-sharing, food delivery, and e-commerce logistics, continuing its role in shaping Bangladesh’s digital future.
