foodpanda has awarded 253 riders with e-bikes, smartwatches, backpacks, bicycle trackers and power banks in recognition of their performance during its Eid-ul-Azha delivery campaign, the online food and grocery delivery platform said in a press release on 4 August.
The awards were handed over at a ceremony held recently at foodpanda’s headquarters in the presence of senior company officials. Working in partnership with e-bike company Dongjin, foodpanda presented e-bikes to the three top-performing riders of the campaign period, while smartwatches, backpacks, power banks and bicycle tracking devices were given to 50 delivery partners each.
Md Abu Jafor, one of the e-bike winners, said he was thrilled to receive such recognition for his hard work, adding that the e-bike would help him deliver orders faster and more conveniently.
Mukitur Khan, Head of Logistics at foodpanda Bangladesh, said Eid-ul-Azha was a busy period and that the company valued its delivery partners’ hard work, adding that the initiative was designed to recognise and support their commitment during the season. He congratulated all the winners and thanked them for their dedication to foodpanda.
Through such initiatives, foodpanda said it continues to support its delivery partners by recognising their efforts and promoting their overall well-being and growth.
