The inaugural Executive Cup Golf Tournament 2025, presented by City Bank and jointly organised by The Corporate Tour and GolfHouse, concluded on 23 August at Jolshiri Golf Club, with 116 golfers from 90 leading companies participating in the event.
Held for the first time, the tournament highlighted golf as a platform for leadership, discipline, and networking, combining competitive play with professional fellowship.
The closing ceremony took place at the Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre, attended by senior officials and industry leaders. Among the notable attendees were Election Commissioner Brig Gen Abul Fazal Sanaullah (retd), Mahbubur Rahman, acting managing director and additional managing director of City Bank, Air Vice Marshal Manzurul Kabir of Air Headquarters, Group Captain Zafar, chairman of DMCB, and Musawath Zahedee, managing director of Radiant Pharmaceuticals.
Other distinguished guests included Md Miarul Haque, Managing Director of DHL Express Bangladesh; Alamgir Morshed, Executive Director and CEO of Idcol; and Hedayet Ullah, Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh Ltd.
The competition concluded with top honours awarded early: Kowser Ahmed of The Kow Company and Musawath Shams Zahedee of Radiant Pharmaceuticals clinched the championship with a gross score of 34. Mohammad Jahangir Alam of Jamuna Bank PLC and Mominul Karim of ACNABIN took second runners-up with a gross of 35, while Maj Md Nazmul Huq Madal of Jolshiri Golf Club and Shariful Alam of Mitsui & Co (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd rounded out the top finishers with a third-place tie, also scoring 35.
