PSG and Inter Milan meet in the Champions League final on Saturday (1am Sunday, Bangladesh time) in Munich. It’s not just about the players. The spotlight is also on the managers—Luis Enrique and Simone Inzaghi.

For Enrique, this is a big chance. PSG have never won the Champions League. They’ve spent millions over the years. But the trophy still escapes them. This season feels different. Under Enrique, the team has played with more unity. He has trusted young players. The team has become stronger. “We’ve been through a lot,” Enrique said. “The first half of the season was hard. But those moments brought us closer.”

Enrique won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2015. Now, ten years later, he feels wiser. “I’m calm,” he said. “I want my players to be calm too. We know how to play finals. We deserve to be here. No fear—just focus.” One player who has stood out is Ousmane Dembele. His form under Enrique has sparked talk of the Ballon d’Or. “Ousmane has been brilliant,” said Enrique. “He’s not just talented—he leads by example. His energy drives the team.” Enrique’s plan is clear. Keep the ball. Control the game. Strike when it matters. He believes in possession football. His young side is ready for the big stage.

But standing in his way is Inzaghi. The Inter boss has had a superb campaign. His team drew with Man City, then beat Bayern and Barcelona. They showed grit and belief. “We deserve this,” said Inzaghi. “We’ve faced strong teams and kept going. Now we must take the final step.” This is his second Champions League final in three years. Inter lost to City in 2023. Inzaghi hopes that experience will help now. “Seven or eight players from that final are still here,” he said. “That experience matters. But every final is new. One or two moments can decide it. We must stay focused.”

Inter lost the Serie A title to Napoli last week. But they are fully fit and ready. Inzaghi wants the right mindset. “This game is about the mind too,” he said. “We must believe and follow the plan.”

It’s not just a clash of teams. It’s a clash of styles. Enrique’s youthful side meets Inzaghi’s experienced group. One wants history. The other wants redemption. At the Allianz Arena, it may come down to one final move. Will it be Enrique’s calm control? Or Inzaghi’s smart strategy?

Whatever happens, both managers have already built something special. Now they aim to finish it with gold.
