The Dhaka University Friends Alliance (DUFA) presented a special honor to TIMES of Bangladesh for its media support during the 5th Mega Reunion. On Saturday, DUFA officials handed over a commemorative crest to Acting Editor Josim Ahmed at the newspaper’s Kawran Bazar office.
Representing DUFA were Jakaria Alam Mamun, Mohammed Muradur Rahman Pathan, Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, M Mahbub Alam and Convener of the Fifth Mega Reunion Advertising & Sponsorship Sub-Committee Shiblee Noman.
DUFA leaders expressed their gratitude, noting that TIMES of Bangladesh’s comprehensive coverage, attentive reporting, and responsible approach before and after the reunion were highly commendable. They said the newspaper’s consistent investigative and distinctive journalism, presented in its unique style, added energy and vibrancy to the reunion’s discussions and overall arrangements.
On behalf of TIMES of Bangladesh, Acting Editor Josim Ahmed, Advisory Editor Elias Khan, Special Affairs Editor M Abul Kalam Azad, and Director of Business Development Nahid Hossain attended the ceremony. They welcomed DUFA’s initiative and expressed their commitment to continue collaboration in the future.
DUFA officials highlighted that the newspaper’s support during the Mega Reunion held on 24th October was particularly valuable. They expressed hope that their partnership with TIMES of Bangladesh will grow stronger and more extensive in the coming years.
