Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is attending a roundtable on Rohingya issue in Doha this morning (Wednesday).
The meeting titled “Social and Environment Challenges Around Forcibly Displaced Populations-The Case for the Rohingya” is being held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Doha from 8 am to 10:30 am (Doha time).
Prof Yunus delivered an address focusing on Bangladesh’s challenges in hosting forcibly displaced Rohingyas from Myanmar.
Qatar Foundation Chief Executive Officer Sheikha Hind binte Hamad Al Thani, sister of Qatar Emir and the host of Earthna Summit, joined the discussion
Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain, National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman, Energy Adviser Mohammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Principal Coordinator on SDG Affairs Ms Lamiya Morshed and Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam, among others, were present.
