Ahsanur Rahman of Dhaka University died on Monday night at a city hospital, a day after he suffered a brain stroke.
He breathed his last at 9:40pm while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Neuro Sciences & Hospital in Dhaka, said Professor Dr. Md Akhteruzzaman, provost of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall.
Ahsan was student of Islamic Studies department with academic session of 2022-2023, hailing from Palash upazila of Narsingdi district.
According to the university sources, he suddenly fell sick at the dormitory on Sunday and was taken to the hospital subsequently. He was pronounced dead on Monday night while receiving treatment.
