Another dengue patient died while 114 more people were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till Friday morning.
The lone death was reported from Dhaka South City Corporation.
According to the Directorate General of Health Service, with the new data, the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh rose to 61 this year, while total infected-case to 16, 395.
Some 109 people were discharged from hospital in the last 24 hours while 15,117 were discharged till date.
Last year, dengue claimed the lives of 575 people.
