One Covid-related death and eight new cases were reported in the country in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), with the new data, the total number of fatalities from the viral disease rose to 25 since January and the number of infected stands at 651.
A total of 234 samples were tested in 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 3.42%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country’s total death toll has reached 29,524 with 20,52,196 confirmed cases.
The first case of Coronavirus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020.
Ten days later, on March 18 of the same year, the first person died from the virus in the country.
